Technovation Girls

In its sixth consecutive year, Impact Hub Caracas will hold the Technovation Girls competition in Venezuela. Its mission is to promote technological entrepreneurship in girls between 16 and 18 years old through the development of a mobile application.

The Technovation Girls program is the world’s largest global competition in technological entrepreneurship for girls, since it is executed in more than 100 countries. Its purpose is to promote interest in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) careers and thus contribute to achieving gender equality.

During 14 weeks, the participants will have the opportunity to take coding classes, business plan, marketing plans and project presentation to finally show their mobile application in front of a specialized jury in our Regional Pitch.

The teams will have the support of mentors and specialized teachers, who voluntarily accompany them throughout the process and execution of the program.

The program will begin in December 2021 and end in April 2022 with the delivery of the mobile application, the business plan and the video pitch. Finally, the teams will present their proposal to the local jury, and if selected, they will have the opportunity to travel to San Francisco, California to participate in the global competition where the winning team will be chosen.
